Flatbed Towing — Safe, Damage-Free Transport
When your vehicle rides on a flatbed, nothing touches the pavement. All four wheels sit on the deck, secured with proper tie-downs — which is why flatbed is the safest way to move any vehicle, and the only acceptable way to move some of them.
Vehicles That Should Only Go on a Flatbed
- All-wheel-drive and 4x4 vehicles — dragging driven wheels destroys transfer cases and differentials
- Low-clearance and sports cars — wheel-lift angles can scrape bumpers, splitters and exhausts
- Luxury and classic cars — no tow hooks against the body, no chain contact, no risk
- Motorcycles — with chocks and soft straps; see our motorcycle towing page
- Accident-damaged vehicles — bent suspension or locked wheels make conventional towing impossible
How It Works
Our Century-equipped flatbed tilts and lowers to the ground. If your car rolls, we winch it up gently at a shallow angle. If it doesn't roll — seized brakes, blown tires, collision damage — we have skates and snatch blocks to load it without further harm. Loading typically takes under ten minutes.
Local or Long Distance
We handle everything from a two-mile hop to your neighborhood mechanic to long-distance transport across Illinois and beyond, at fair per-mile rates quoted upfront. Dealership deliveries, auction pickups and shop-to-shop transfers welcome.
Serving the South Suburbs 24/7
From our base in Hickory Hills we cover Bridgeview, Oak Lawn, Burbank, Palos Hills, Alsip, Lansing, Dolton and the wider south Chicago area around the clock.
